Welcome to Tix Van. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tix Van website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Tix Van.

1. About Tix Van:
Tix Van is a self-service event ticketing platform that enables event organisers to create, promote, manage, and sell tickets for live and virtual events, while allowing attendees to discover and purchase tickets.

Tix Van is not the organiser, promoter, sponsor, or operator of events listed on the Platform unless expressly stated.

2. Eligibility:
You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age required in your jurisdiction to create an organiser account. By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Accounts:
You are responsible for:

* Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
* Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
* All activities conducted under your account.
* Promptly notifying Tix Van of any unauthorised access.


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Event Organiser Responsibilities:
Event organisers agree to:

* Provide accurate event information.
* Honour all valid tickets sold.
* Obtain all licences, permits, insurance, and approvals required by law.
* Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Deliver events as advertised.
* Handle attendee enquiries professionally.


Organisers are solely responsible for the planning, management, safety, and execution of their events.

5. Ticket Purchases:
When purchasing tickets, attendees agree that:

* All purchases are subject to ticket availability.
* Prices may include applicable taxes and service fees.
* A completed purchase constitutes a binding transaction.
* Tickets may not be duplicated, altered, or fraudulently transferred.


Each ticket contains a unique QR code or digital identifier and may only be used once unless otherwise specified.

6. Refunds and Cancellations:
Refund policies are determined by the event organiser unless otherwise required by law.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, or significantly changed, the organiser is responsible for communicating available options, including refunds where applicable.

Tix Van may facilitate the refund process but is not responsible for funding organiser refunds unless expressly stated.

7. Payments:
Payments are processed through approved third-party payment providers.

Tix Van does not store full payment card information and is not liable for delays or failures caused by payment processors or financial institutions.

Organiser payouts are subject to verification, fraud prevention measures, and applicable payout schedules.

8. Prohibited Activities:
Users must not:

* Sell fraudulent or counterfeit tickets.
* Use bots or automated systems without permission.
* Attempt to bypass security measures.
* Interfere with the operation of the Platform.
* Upload malicious software.
* Violate intellectual property rights.
* Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.


Violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent account termination.

9. Intellectual Property:
All Platform content, including logos, software, trademarks, designs, graphics, and text, is owned by or licensed to Tix Van and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.

10. User Content:
Users retain ownership of the content they upload.

By submitting content to Tix Van, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to upload their content.

11. Privacy:
Your use of Tix Van is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

12. Third-Party Services:
The Platform may integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, marketing tools, analytics providers, and social media platforms.

Tix Van is not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party services.

13. Disclaimer:
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tix Van disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tix Van shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform or attendance at any event.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of service fees paid to Tix Van in connection with the relevant transaction.

15. Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tix Van, its directors, employees, affiliates, partners, and agents from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:

* Your use of the Platform.
* Your violation of these Terms.
* Your event or its operation.
* Your infringement of third-party rights.


16. Suspension and Termination:
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time if we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or created unacceptable legal or financial risk.

17. Changes to These Terms:
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tix Van operates or as otherwise specified in your service agreement.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
